Here's another one of our exceptional Zheng Yan Qi Lan or True Rock Rare Orchid. With intense and long-lasting orchid fragrance and notes of almond aroma, this yan cha (rock tea) is mellow yet brisk in flavor with a slight sweet after taste. A perfect tea for any time of the day.

Brewing Suggestions

  • Traditional Style 

    (Using Gaiwan, Chinese teapot for shorter brews, repeated a few times)

    Tea / Water: 

    5 g per 100 ml of water

    0.25 oz per 5 fl oz of water

    Temperature: 100C / 212F

    Brew Time:

    Warm teapot and let it bloom well before first brew 

    1st Brew: 20 seconds
    2nd Brew: 15 seconds
    Subsequent Brews: 25-45 seconds

  • Modern Style

    (Using a mug or a bigger teapot for longer brews, repeated once or twice)

    Tea / Water: 

    3 g per 100 ml of water

    0.3 oz per 10 fl oz of water

    Temperature: 100C / 212F

    Brew Time:

    Warm teapot or mug and let it bloom well before first brew 
2.5 minutes
