Produced by award-winning Master Wang, this hand-made Tai Ping Hou Kui is a beauty inside and out. Characterized by its unique long, flat leaves, it exudes a sharp and prominent floral aroma, an orchid flavor, with a sweet, smooth richness. With its refreshing taste, this is a joy any time. Best brewed in a tall glass, such as the gong dao bei (fairness cup).

Brewing Suggestions

  • Traditional Style 

    (Using Gaiwan, Chinese teapot for shorter brews, repeated a few times)

    Tea / Water: 

    3 g per 100 ml of water

    0.15 oz per 5 fl oz of water

    Temperature: 90C / 194F

    Brew Time:

    1st Brew: 25 seconds
    2nd Brew: 20 seconds
    Subsequent Brews: 30-45 seconds

  • Modern Style

    (Using a mug or a bigger teapot for longer brews, repeated once or twice)

    Tea / Water: 

    2 g per 100 ml of water

    0.2 oz per 10 fl oz of water

    Temperature: 90C / 194F

    Brew Time:

    1.5 minutes
