Introducing our Shi Feng Long Jing. Hailing from Lion Peak (獅子峰) which produces some of the highest grade Long Jing / Dragonwell tea, this was picked pre-Qing Ming (明前), early in the season, for more tender leaves. After carefully handpicking, it is partly handmade (半手工) and processed. This Qunti Zhong cultivar is complex with a lot of depth, It delivers a fresh taste with an aroma that is reminiscent of cooked beans and a delicate floral undertones.

Brewing Suggestions

  • Traditional Style 

    (Using Gaiwan, Chinese teapot for shorter brews, repeated a few times)

    Tea / Water: 

    4 g per 150 ml of water

    0.15 oz per 5 fl oz of water

    Temperature: 85C / 185F

    Brew Time:

    1st Brew: 30 seconds
    2nd Brew: 20 seconds
    Subsequent Brews: 45-55 seconds

  • Modern Style

    (Using a mug or a bigger teapot for longer brews, repeated once or twice)

    Tea / Water: 

    4 g per 250 ml of water

    0.15 oz per 10 fl oz of water

    Temperature: 85C / 185F

    Brew Time:

    2 minutes
